The Empowerment Factory is a non-profit that offers classes and events for K-8 students in the Providence, Pawtucket, and Central Falls areas both in-person and remotely. We host K-8 students from across Rhode Island with remote and one day events.

The Empowerment Factory (TEF) is dedicated to giving children the skills they need to lead happier, healthier, more empowered lives.

Our project-based learning approach focuses on three areas of development: creativity, self-esteem, and civic pride. Every child should feel that they matter and can make a difference in the world around them.

The focus of The Empowerment Factory is empowering youth through after-school and summertime learning programs, community and school special events and activities. We partner with schools, park departments, and various community based organizations to deliver programs, events and activities that help youth develop the skills they need to succeed in school and life.

When our students and teachers succeed, it creates a powerful ripple effect that’s felt in families, schools and communities.

Mission

The Empowerment Factory (TEF) is dedicated to giving children the skills they need to lead happier, healthier, more empowered lives. The organization primarily serves students in Title I schools in Rhode Island’s urban core cities, focusing on three areas of development: creativity, self-esteem, and civic pride. TEF’s Creative Squad programs blend social emotional learning (SEL), art, literacy, and environmental education, providing children with the skills to be successful in school and in life.

Vision

The Empowerment Factory (TEF) wants every child to feel that they matter and can make a difference in the world around them.
