The Empowerment Factory provides a variety of programming, workshops, and events while building a community of support for our youth and families. We are a small organization whose programs are implemented almost entirely by volunteers and interns.
TEF provides many opportunities for members of the community to get involved: one day events lasting a few hours, delivering creativity kits to RI youth, writing cards for seniors in RI care facilities, picking up trash for the day in Pawtucket, helping-out behind the scenes weekly, or assisting with our classes a few times a week for the 6 or 7 weeks that programs run.
We don’t have an age limit for volunteers, so if you are 10 or 110, we have something for you to do to get involved. The Empowerment Factory is a busy place and we’re always looking for new friendly faces to bring on our team.
The Empowerment Factory is committed to providing an inclusive and welcoming environment for all members of our staff, volunteers, subcontractors, vendors, and clients.
