Baldwin Loop Scavenger Walk

September 1 - September 7

Join the Scavenger Walk along the Baldwin Loop Walking Path in the Woodlawn neighborhood of Pawtucket, September 1-7. Along the way, scan QR codes to complete activities, learn fun historic facts, and earn raffle tickets at our Healthy Living Community Event on September 7. There are 16 stops along this 2-mile walk, each highlighting a different piece of historic Pawtucket and featuring a talented local artist.

The Baldwin Loop Walking Path, established by The Empowerment Factory in 2017 to promote healthy habits, community involvement, and local artwork, is the first walking path in Pawtucket. It is highlighted during our Healthy Living Community Event each year and has become a beloved community fixture.

The Scavenger Walk along the Baldwin Loop has been an integral part of the Annual Healthy Living Community Event and Pawtucket Arts Festival since 2018. In the past, it has spotlighted local children’s art to brighten up and beatify the neighborhood. This year, it will debut new artwork featuring historic locations throughout Pawtucket by RI student artists.

Families are encouraged to get outside and help us celebrate our historic city on the Baldwin Loop Scavenger Walk this year!
